SCAMPS 09 - One day Symposium
SCAMPS (EBI Sanger Cambridge PhD Symposium) is an annual symposium organised by the PhD students of the European Bioinformatics Institute and the Sanger Institute to bring together life sciences PhD students in Cambridge to meet and share their research.
This year we’re coming over from the Genome Campus to bring SCAMPS to Cambridge: the event will be held at Robinson College on April 23rd, 2009. Three academic sessions headed by world-class keynote speakers and nine student talks will be followed by a panel discussion on career paths. We also provide lunch, refreshments and a drinks reception in the end of the day, all included with the free registration.
The registration is open and we especially encourage you to send in an abstract of your research (just send it when registering through the website: http://scampsonline.net/register)! The abstract submission deadline is 10th of March.
Prizes will be awarded for the best student talk as well as for the two best posters, as chosen by the audience.
So, if you you want to know about research going on in Cambridge, potential career paths or you just want a great day out from the lab meeting fellow scientists and potential collaborators, register at http://scampsonline.net/register!
We hope you are going to enjoy SCAMPS 09 .
