Horizon: Foodomics? Why we eat What we eat and What's new on the Menu
What motivates our choice of foods? What is the role of food in health related issues such as obesity? How will research into the science of food challenge our basic understanding of what we eat? These are just some of the questions that will be addressed by leading experts from a range of disciplines at Juneโs Horizon Seminar to be held at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Cambridge. This Seminar will focus on four key areas of food related research: health; nutrition; food technology; and the environmental and social aspects of food.
