Abstract
Seth is an Associate Editor at Science, based in Cambridge, UK, whose areas of responsibility include immunology, hematology, and host–pathogen interactions. Hailing from Philadelphia, his undergraduate work on lung surfactant proteins was with Michael Beers at the University of Pennsylvania. This was followed by a doctorate at the University of Chicago under the supervision of Albert Bendelac on the role of semi-invariant NKT cells in asthma. He then moved to the UK, where he investigated type 2 innate lymphoid cell (ILC2) regulation and trafficking in Andrew McKenzie’s group at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology followed by a brief stint in Amy Saunders’ lab at the University of Manchester. He has been an editor since June 2017 and his goal is to attract and facilitate the publication of innovative research into the pages of Science.
