Abstract
Repetitive behaviours are defining features of a broad range of neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders, including intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum, obsessive-compulsive, tic, and psychotic disorders. Repetitive behaviours are also common in typical development. This presentation will explore the scope of repetitive behaviour in typical and atypical development, with particular focus on a recently-developed measure of repetitive behaviour, and implications for the study of genetic and neural substrates of repetitive behaviour.
