Abstract
Anglia Ruskin University’s Global Sustainability Institute, in collaboration with the Anglia Law School and Anglia Law Society, are hosting a series of expert-led seminars on the subject of environmental law. These interactive seminars will explore: •The types of cases that lawyers with an interest in the environment might find themselves working on •How the speakers initially started working for an environmental law firm, and some examples of what career progression within this field might look like
Speakers:
This talk will be lead by Matthew McFeeley and Hannah Brown, two Claimant lawyers based at the specialist environment firm, Richard Buxton Environment & Public Law. They will discuss a selection of environmental law issues that a claimant environmental lawyer will generally experience, with examples of their current case load. They will also briefly discuss how they became environmental lawyers and possible careers options in their sector.
