Abstract
Strengthening the Connections between Leadership and Learning: Challenges to Policy, School and Classroom Practice. By John MacBeath, Neil Dempster, David Frost, Greer Johnson, Sue Swaffield
We are very excited to invite you to a book launch of our new ‘Leadership for Learning’ book – 10 years after the original text setting out the Leadership for Learning framework and principles.
Examining a decade of research and practice, Strengthening the Connections between Leadership and Learning makes the case for a radical reappraisal of leadership, learning and their interrelationship in educational policy. Discussing whether policy direction is progressively constraining the professionalism and initiative of teachers and school leaders, it challenges conventional understanding and argues the case for thinking differently about the way to lead learning. The book is available to order from Routledge.
Wednesday 25th of April, 5.15 – 6.30pm Room GS4 - Faculty of Education University of Cambridge, 184 Hills Road, CB2 8PQ , UK All welcome. Free to attend. Refreshments served. Please email lfl@educ.cam.ac.uk to register.
