Abstract
Chris is a biophysicist and has been with the Nature Journals since 1993, interrupted by a three-year ‘excursion’ to PLoS One. He has been Chief Editor of Nature Plants since its birth in 2015.
Chris is coming to Plant Sciences within the frame of the ‘Alternative Career Paths Workshop Series’, a new initiative the Plant Science PhD students have started, to talk to the Plant Science students and postdocs about what it is like to be an editor.
He has kindly agreed to additionally talk to the wider Cambridge Plant Community about:
“What’s the point of yet another journal?”
