Abstract
Neuroimaging provides an invaluable non-invasive technique to study the brain’s function in health and disease. Brain networks provide a promising approach to understanding both cognition and the development of healthy brains, as well as, the changes observed in brain disorders. Session 1 Introduction to the field of network neuroscience Description of different approaches to modelling the brain as a network Discuss how brain network approaches might be used to diagnose schizophrenia Session 2 Discuss the challenges of applying graph theory to EEG /MEG data Describe novel methods to overcome some of those challenges Results from work applying these methods to answer cognitive questions
