Abstract
In this talk, Dr. El Asmar will overview useāinspired research being conducted in the U.S. to help the construction industry make better decisions and improve its performance. His interactive presentation will address the motivation and need for faculty members and graduate students alike to conduct applied research, as well as the contributions both to the industry and to the body of knowledge. Dr. El Asmar will also discuss his groupās line of work focused on achieving improved performance through innovative project delivery research and developing novel decisionāmaking systems for construction.
