An operator-theoretic approach to nonamenable percolation

Abstract
I will discuss progress on and implications of the following new conjecture: For any nonamenable transitive graph G=(V,E), the matrix of connection probabilities in critical Bernoulli percolation is bounded as an operator from L2(V) to L2(V).
