Abstract
Can your emotions affect your health? Can we live in such a way as to maximise our happiness? Or are we really motivated by something else? Dr Nick Baylis will debunk the happiness hype and explain what really drives our everyday lives towards wonderful well-being, while Professor Martin Cowie will provide a medical perspective on how intense emotions can severely affect heart problems and health.
