Abstract
Genome transcription, replication, integrity, and propagation rely on the dynamic structural organization of chromosomes during the cell cycle. I will present data exploring the role of CTCF in the control of genome folding and transcriptional regulation, and discuss mechanistic models for how CTCF and Cohesin proteins control the functional architecture of mammalian chromosomes.
