Abstract
Sam travelled in 2017 to Foula, in Shetland, one of the most remote permanently inhabited islands in the UK, to participate in a seabird-tagging project, and became fascinated by the island and its inhabitants. In this talk, he will discuss the history of the island’s habitation right up to the present day, and the relationship between people, wildlife, land and sea.
