Abstract
From birth to death your brain is continuously working and whirring inside your head. Taking it with you wherever you go, it enables you to decide what colour of trousers to wear, remember where you left your car keys and to calculate whether the newsagent has just short changed you. In this lecture Andrew Morris takes an enjoyable and light-hearted look at the structure of the brain and the mechanisms behind sensory perception.
