With 5G deployments gathering pace and the ever-increasing use of artificial intelligence in smartphones, this talk will explore the potential synergies between these two technologies.

The talk will identify and discuss areas where artificial intelligence can be used to improve the efficiency and operation of advanced cellular communication.

Challenges when deploying AI loads on user devices will also be presented.
