Abstract
Alchera Technologies is a Cambridge-based startup that build the data, prediction and automation pipeline behind Smart Cities, Mobility & Infrastructure. This is a growing space, driven by the use of Digital twins for the built environment and includes systems such as, advanced traffic control systems, automated railway stations & shipping ports and autonomous vehicle to road infrastructure. The talk will cover both macro trends and technical implementation in this space.
Macro: - Why do this? (underlying trends) - What is important to consider? (Key challenges) - What can be done? (example applications)
Technical: - Industrial Data systems/ formats, Common methods & Architectures - Interesting ML applications - New trends (research directions)
We will also provide lunch!
