Abstract

One day interdisciplinary meeting focusing on the challenges of parasitic and neglected diseases.
Confirmed speakers include: Pauline Beattie (EDCTP), Catherine Merrick (UoC), Simon Croft (LSHTM), Marcus Lee (WT-Sanger), Suzanne Turner (UoC), Mark Carrington (UoC).
As part of the programme, we will hold a panel session in the afternoon, with individuals who have either long term experience of working across the field and lab, and those who have recently made the change to conducting this type of work, or are in the process of making this change. A draft programme (subject to change) will be posted online soon.
Call for Abstracts now Open to early career researchers (PhD students and postdoctoral researchers) for abstracts (max 200 words) to present talks. Closing date for submission 20th November 2018. Notification of outcome will be communicated by 30th November 2018.
The aim of the network is to bring together parasite and NTD researchers in Cambridge and provide a platform to increase links with research collaborators in LMI Cs.
