The talk will summarize recent results in synthesis and medicinal chemistry of novel cytostatic nucleoside and nucleotide analogues. The talk with focus on use of modified nucleotides as building blocks for enzymatic synthesis of nucleic acids applicable in bioanalysis, bioimaging, bioconjugations and regulation of transcription.
