LinuxKit: new ways of using Linux

Abstract: LinuxKit is a toolkit for building custom Linux systems. It is not a Linux “distro” in the traditional sense at all, but a way of running applications under Linux as simply as possible, designed to be small, fast, easy to use, reproducible and to build immutable systems. This talk will discuss why it is useful for experiments, resesarch and production systems, and how it fits in the landscape of configuration management tools.
