Abstract
I am an exploration geologist who has been involved in the mining industry for the past 5 years. Having gained an MEarthSci from Oxford University, I then studied for an MSc in Mining Geology at the Camborne School of Mines. Since 2014 I have been working as an exploration geologist: initially looking for minerals across Africa, particularly within Morocco and Ethiopia, before moving back down to Cornwall in summer 2017 and joining Cornish Lithium. I’ll talk about what exploration geology actually entails from the initial stages through to building a mine, and also about Cornish Lithium and our search for lithium-enriched geothermal fluids.
