Matrix Wiener-Hopf problems arise when solving boundary value problems involving multiple junctions, such as scattering from a set of collinear finite plates. Known techniques for solving such matrix problems are often difficult and specialised to particular kinds of problem. We will discuss how iteration can provide a useful tool for solving a certain class of matrix Wiener-Hopf problems relevant to wave scattering, and how this may be effectively implemented numerically.
