Probabilistic Reliability Management for Electric Power Systems Operation
- π€ Speaker: Louis Wehenkel, University of LiΓ¨ge
- π Date & Time: Thursday 25 April 2019, 14:00 - 15:00
- π Venue: Cambridge University Engineering Department, Lecture Theatre 6
Abstract
The talk introduces current practice in reliability management of bulk power systems, and why and how it is desirable to move towards a probabilistic approach. The main part of the talk focuses on reliability management in the context of power system operation. The last part discusses the connection between power system operation and system maintenance and development.
Series This talk is part of the CUED Control Group Seminars series.
