Abstract

The Rebels Conference celebrates all that which is rebellious and challenges the status quo. We will convene women who are currently challenging their disciplines with new insights in a one-day conference at Newnham college, Cambridge on the 4th May 2019.

This conference brings together historical, political and scientific topics in a wider context where “rebel” is the common ground. Women from different backgrounds at Cambridge’s all-female colleges will meet to inspire and be inspired by each other.
