Abstract
The emission-line regions in Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) have developed the reputation as being complicated with slow progress since the first models by Bahcall & Kozlovsky in 1969. Despite this, they are necessary probes of the inner regions of AGN and a primary indicator of the black hole mass. When the recent HST STORM campaign was poised to produce the largest and best set of observations of NGC 5548 , the lines decided to go on holiday rather than participate in yet another study. I will talk about what happened, and now a disk wind can produce it. This wind is a likely source of the non-disk emission that has been noted by many studies.
