Abstract
Three-dimensional organoid cultures constitute a powerful resource to study stem cell biology and provide an innovative platform to unveil human development and model human diseases. The first speaker will:
âĸ introduce 3D pancreatic organoid cultures,
âĸ describe their potential application for regenerative therapies in diabetes and
âĸ discuss their ability to model pancreatic cancer
The second speaker will
âĸ give an overview of the 3D cerebral organoid culture method,
âĸ discuss how cerebral organoids recapitulate aspects of human brain development and
âĸ discuss their application in the study of neurodevelopmental disorders.
