Abstract
Two constructions input a surface S (with some extra data) and output an associative algebra whose elements are represented by Legendrian curves: 1) the Legendrian skein algebra of S x R, defined by imposing linear relations between curves which differ locally 2) the Hall algebra of the Fukaya category of S. We construct a homomorphism from 1) to 2) which in examples is as close to isomorphism as it can be. The proof requires a precise understanding of the relation between formal deformations (Maurer-Cartan elements) and geometric deformations (surgery) for immersed curves. [See arxiv:1908.10358]
