Abstract
This self guided tour will introduce visitors to the diverse range of materials on Alaska selected from the Library and Thomas H. Manning Archives’ collections. Items on display will include books on wildlife in the USA ’s most sparsely populated state, the Alaskan pipeline, permafrost, Inuit art and culture, together with maps and archival materials on the exploration of Alaska.
The tour coincides with the Polar Museum’s latest exhibition: Tikagaq | Point Hope – life on the North Slope.
