Abstract
Developed through an interdisciplinary partnership between the Centre for Global Knowledge Studies (CRASSH, Cambridge) and the Material Balance research group (Department of Architecture, Politecnico di Milano) this exhibition celebrates the technical imaginaries of Leonardo da Vinci on the 500th anniversary of his death, with reproductions of da Vinci’s portfolios from the Ambrosiana Library in Milan and an interactive art installation to explore future imaginaries of sense and technique. Organisers: Inanna Hamati-Ataya (Cambridge), Ingrid Paoletti (Milan), Marta d’Alessandro (Milan).

gloknos is initially funded for 5 years by the European Research Council through a Consolidator Grant awarded to Dr Inanna Hamati-Ataya for her project ARTEFACT (2017-2022) ERC grant no. 724451.
