Abstract
Work matters. It is not just about making a living. Young people want to make a contribution, they want to be respected in their communities. But many of the world’s youth will never have a ‘job’ as understood in the developed world. Hafez Ghanem, Vice President for Africa, World Bank, will discuss its approaches to this epidemic.
