Should we provide Safe Havens for Academics at Risk?

Wednesday, 13 November 2019, 6pm – Old Library, Pembroke College

Speakers will include:

-Baroness Onora O’Neill, philosopher and Cara Patron

-Stephen Wordsworth, Executive Director, Cara

-Dr Mehmet Erman Erol, Postdoctoral Researcher and Cara Fellow

-Matt Mahmoudi, PhD candidate and Jo Cox Scholar

The discussion will be followed by a drinks reception at 7pm and a special dinner in Hall at 7.30pm

The panel discussion and drinks reception are free of charge Dinner costs Β£18.50 per person and aims to raise funds to host an academic at risk at Pembroke
