Abstract
Students for Global Health – Cambridge invites you to join us on Thursday the 14th of November for a panel discussion on Nuclear Disarmament.
Nuclear war would have devastating health and humanitarian consequences, making its prevention a major global health priority. But how do we prevent nuclear war? And how should we as students respond to this global health challenge?
The panellists:
Frank Boulton – researcher in Peace and Global Health, former Chair of MedAct, retired Consultant Haematologist Jamie Kwong – PhD candidate at King’s College London, with research focusing on public knowledge levels of nuclear weapons issues Daniel Zeichner – MP for Cambridge
There will be brief presentations from each of our speakers, followed by a panel discussion and an interactive Q&A. It promises to be an incredibly interesting and important discussion that you don’t want to miss!
