Abstract
This week’s RCC will be about clustering of rank data, in particular the article “Cluster Analysis of Heterogeneous Rank Data” by LM Busse, JM Buhmann and myself. I will try to provide some background on the symmetric group used to represent such data and on probability models that live on the group.
