Abstract
All modern businesses work with datasets that can be incomplete, inconsistent, imprecise, or invalid. Often these data quality issues are not something that can be fixed but simply a reality businesses must learn to live with. Several cautionary examples and their implications for corporate Big Data initiatives are discussed. How Ab Initio Software’s Co>Relate solution uses multi-faceted content-based search to work around these issues is described.
