Abstract
Dr Field will explore what we’ve learned about how, when and why modern bird diversity has arisen, and the extent to which major events in Earth history has influenced avian evolution. He will also discuss how continued fieldwork is turning up major avian fossil discoveries at an unprecedented rate.
