Abstract
After nearly 5 years spent studying the extrusion of industrial pastes, I have discovered that particulate materials as a whole are wonderfully interesting. However, you need simultaneous degrees in mathematics, physics and engineering (civil and chemical) in order to model them! This talk gives a confused engineers perspective on pasty materials.
Series This talk is part of the Institute for Energy and Environmental Flows (IEEF) series.
