Abstract
In this work, our goal is to build a deployable solution for locating objects in Internet-scale networks. We study issues on evolvability, incentive-compatibility, policy-compliance, and scalability and propose a new rendezvous architecture aiming for a market-based evolution of the system. The proposed solution assumes persistent, self-certifying object identifiers with no embedded location or underlying topology information and that a given object identifier never resolves to different objects no matter from where it is used. We build upon a number of architectural works in this area, especially DONA , ROFL, and TRIAD and Towards Evolvable Internet Architecture.
Bio: Mikko SΓ€relΓ€, M.Sc. is a researcher at Nomadiclab, Ericsson Research. His currently working for his Ph.D. working in the future internet architectures area, working in the PSIRP project. His main interests lie in the deployability of architectural changes from microeconomic perspective.
