- 👤 Speaker: David Ingram ( Computer Laboratory, University of Cambridge)
- 📅 Date & Time: Tuesday 18 November 2008, 14:30 - 15:30
- 📍 Venue: Room FW11, Computer Laboratory, William Gates Building
Abstract
This talk will begin with a high level overview of Event-Based Middleware, showing where SBUS sits in the design space of possible message-passing systems. I will then give a tutorial on how to obtain, configure and use it. Simple usage, for example as distributed systems “glue”, is possible just from the command-line; for more advanced applications I will show how a new component can be implemented and deployed rapidly.
