Abstract
Could alchemists really make gold, or the philosophers’ stone? Why were they so secretive about their recipes? Learn how to decode some of the weird and wonderful images found in alchemical manuscripts, and find out how medieval and Renaissance adepts transformed the mysteries of their art into pictures and stories. Ages 12+
