Abstract
Caucher Birkar talks to Yuri Manin.
Behind every piece of mathematics there is a human (or many of them). The aim of this interview is to shed light on the human experience of doing mathematics, on the way the mathematician views the mathematics and interacts with it. General themes in maths are also discussed without going into too much detail.
This is intended for a general audience, not only algebraic geometers.
You can join through Zoom or watch it on youtube live (details to be posted).
Series This talk is part of the Algebraic Geometry Seminar series.
