- 📍 Venue: Old Kitchens, Queens’ College
Abstract
The global financial system is in meltdown as a result of the follies of the investment banks over the last twenty years. The solutions adopted by governments, i.e. bail-outs and nationalisations, appear to be failing. This seminar will cover the causes and consequences of the crisis and will propose a seven-point plan for a systemic solution, with the first point being the bankrupting of the bad banks.
