Abstract
Spectrum-RG orbital observatory has been launched to the L2 point on July 13, 2019, carrying eROSITA and ART -XC grazing incidence X-ray telescopes. It is planned that during four years SRG will be scanning the sky, conducting eight all-sky surveys in the X-ray band. The first sky survey was completed on June 10, 2020, yielding unique all-sky maps. The eROSITA telescope aboard SRG mapped the sky in the soft X-ray band, achieving a record all-sky sensitivity and detecting over a million of X-ray sources, the vast majority of which are active galactic nuclei and stars. Its initial results in the hemisphere analysed by the Russian eROSITA consortium will be reviewed in this talk.
