Abstract
Why, if ever, should researchers become advocates and campaigners?
How can these activities fit with the expectation of scientists and social scientists to be objective analysts?
What are the challenges and opportunities of stepping outside the ivory tower?
At this year’s online lecture, Kate E Pickett PhD FRSA FFPH , Professor of Epidemiology at the University of York will explore some of the answers to these questions.
The lecture will be followed by a Q&A session.
