Lighting Effects in Real Time Rendering

Abstract
Traditional real time lighting methods fail to approximate more complex lighting effects visible in nature, leading to results which are far less realistic than is desirable. This talk will briefly describe three natural lighting phenomena and outline methods of approximating them in real time on modern consumer graphics hardware.
