Abstract
This presentation will summarize results from the European RETRO project (http://retro.enes.org) and the ongoing multi-model assessment study of the task force on hemispheric transport of air pollution. I will discuss trends and variability of tropospheric ozone from a global modelling perspective and attempt to line out some future research lines.
