Abstract
Cloud storage is great. We can get storage cheaper and access our data wherever we want. However, we can’t always trust the cloud storage providers to not read or leak our sensitive data, but what if there was a way to get both the privacy we require along with the convenience of cloud storage?
In this talk, I will discuss a solution to this problem – searchable encryption. In particular we will look at the construction and security of the Z-IDX scheme, and also cover some of its drawbacks.
Series This talk is part of the Churchill CompSci Talks series.
