Computer viruses have been around for a long time, causing a lot of damage over the years. Fortunately, antivirus software is getting better and better. But can a perfect antivirus program detect all viruses? In this talk we will look at the problem of virus detection from a theoretical point of view, and also discuss some real-world approaches.
