Abstract
Dr Tofield works in innovation and community engagement within CRed, the Community Carbon Reduction Programme based at UEA , and is their spokesman on biofuels.
He will describe the current state of the industry, and its potential impact on carbon reduction targets.
He has been Director of The Technology Centre, Johnson Matthey plc, Head of Materials Physics and Metallurgy Division, Harwell, and a member of the Technical Staff, Bell Laboratories, Holmdel, New Jersey. His degree was in chemistry at Oxford.
