Abstract
Professor Coomes runs the University’s Centre for Earth Observation and is the Director of the University’s Conservation Research Institute, based in the David Attenborough Building. He is interested in using remote sensing technologies to understand how the world’s ecosystem are changing and to help solve the interlinked biodiversity and climate crises. He will discuss his latest research and explore ways in which it interacts with computer science
