Towards Responsible Agricultural Robotics
- π€ Speaker: Prof Alan Winfiled

- π Venue: This talk will happen virtually via Zoom
Abstract
In this talk Alan will explore the question: what would the practice of Responsible Robotics mean, in the field of agricultural robotics?
Alan will first define responsible robotics and, within that, the practice of Ethically Aligned Design [1] then outline emerging ethical standards [2]. He will then elaborate on two important processes within responsible robotics: Ethical Risk Assessment, based on British Standard BS8611 [3], and Robot Accident Investigation [4], and how these processes should be applied to agricultural robotics.
