Abstract
For the fifth talk in our ongoing series of international webinars in Early Detection, we are delighted to welcome Dr Raghu Kalluri, RE Bob Smith Distinguished Chair in Cancer Research and Chairman – Department of Cancer Biology, MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Speaker Biography
Raghu Kalluri is chairman and professor of the Department of Cancer Biology and the Director of the Metastasis Research Center at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he also holds the Rebecca and Joseph Brown Endowed Chair. Dr. Kalluri came to Texas from Harvard Medical School in 2012.
Dr. Kalluriโs research laboratory is broadly focused in the study of cell/tissue microenvironment and its impact on cancer progression and metastasis, and tissue injury and repair/regeneration. His recent work on exosomes had led to new diagnostic and therapy approaches for pancreatic cancer.
